2.10 REQUIREMENT TO WORK ON A DAY TAKEN OFF AS TOIL

With the exception of a TOIL day within a qualifying period of annual leave, days taken off as TOIL are not protected in the same way as rest days or public holidays.  Where a day off has been arranged as TOIL and the officer is subsequently required to do duty on that day, the TOIL is cancelled and the time returned to the officer without any additional compensation.
