2.11 INTERVALS OF PAY AND CALCULATION OF MONTHLY AND WEEKLY PAY

The pay date for all police officers has been fixed as the 28th of each month.  Where the 28th falls on a Saturday or Sunday or Bank Holiday, the pay date will revert to the nearest banking day preceding the 28th.

Calculation of Monthly and Weekly Pay
Monthly PayDetermined by dividing the annual rate by 12.
Weekly PayDetermined by dividing the annual rate by
52 1/6
Daily PayDetermined by dividing the weekly rate by 7, except for the purposes of overtime, public holidays and rest days.
Hourly rate  The hourly rate of pay of a part-time constable is to be calculated by multiplying the annual rate of pay by 6/12520
OvertimeA day’s pay means the constable’s pay for the week in question divided by 5.
Public Holidays and Rest DaysA day’s pay means a week’s pay at the rate at which the constable was paid on the day in question divided by 5
